AMD buys ATI. Wow.

This is...odd. It's all over the internet, but hey, for all of the 0 people who have read this blog, AMD bought ATI for 5.4 billion dollars. Imagine all the childrens tears I could buy with that....It's a valid response. Don't diminish my beliefs! It's a traditional...bird...er...pastime.

Anyway, so what does that mean? Basically, I think it will mean less competition, and less quality (I know they are in different technology areas, but with a bigger corporation, there comes more security. Intel was young once too.) When you feel secure, you don't innovate. So this isn't necessarily a good thing
